Reviews
Always a fun place to go to hike. Lots of trails around that connect to each other.
Great trails and very clean restrooms.
Great spot for taking pictures
Spacious trailhead with clean restrooms. First trail is really steep, but after the first climb there are gorgeous views and well maintained trails.
We locals call this place hawks nest trail fue to the big hawk's nest right by the trail on top of the first ascent you make.
The views from the back bowls make for some of the prettiest AZ sunsets you will find....
I did the full loop and it was harder than I anticipated. A great hike with gorgeous views. Perfect for sunrise or sunset! Wear good shoes because it's pretty rocky in places. It has plenty of uphill and downhill to vary your experience.
A Nice area for hiking and to take up the desert vibes, not too far from Phoenix. Perhaps less interesting end summer as the heat has dried out most of the vegetation. You will have view of some suburbs, so if you want to hike more in 'nature', I would recommend to drive a little further and hike in the preserves.
Nice trails if you can't make it to the mountains outside of Phoenix. Be on the look out for rattlers in the warm months.
Always a fun place to go to hike. Lots of trails around that connect to each other.
